Please join the Home Care Association of Florida on March 19-20, 2018, as leaders and advocates for home care gather in Washington, D.C., to make our voices heard in the halls of Congress.

The National Association for Home Care & Hospice is hosting a welcome reception panel discussion on current legislative issues impacting home care on Monday, March 19, and participants will meet with members of Congress on Tuesday, March 20. HCAF staff will set up meetings.

Industry advocates scored a huge success with our events in 2017 and we are confident we can do it again in the coming year. Our policy victories on the Home Health Groupings Model and Pre-Claim Review would not have been possible without your personal involvement, but our work is not finished. The only way to build on this momentum is to continue to do what works.

The best advocates for our community are the hard-working people delivering invaluable services to millions of Americans in their homes every day. Your lawmakers care what you think and your message is powerful. We will face important challenges to home care in 2018, such as Medicare payment cuts, revising the Medicare face-to-face physician encounter requirement, permitting certification eligibility for non-physician practitioners, and extending the rural add-on – just to name a few.

You can protect the interests of our industry and your agency and build important relationships with lawmakers by coming to Washington, D.C., in March to advocate for home care in person.

Not a "political person"? Not to worry! HCAF's policy team will be sure you are prepared with an experienced advocate and everything you need to know to feel comfortable and prepared to meet with lawmakers and their staff.
